I have not known Adri for very long. I first met her when my husband and I took a Restorational class that she was teaching. I soon started attending her group classes. I soon found myself signing up for private classes with her because I thought I might get more out of one on one sessions. Boy did I! Cheating is not allowed when it is you, Adri and the mat. She really focuses on making sure your poses are correct so that you get the most benefit and the least risk of injury. She tailors her class to where you are that day. If you are tired its restorative, if you feel strong she works with that. (April 16,2009)  ~Anna
 
Adri, I just wanted to tell you how much I enjoy your classes. I really appreciate the personal attention - those little adjustments that you point out seem to make a huge difference! I know I told you this before, but today's class was a great reminder -- I think it is awesome that you talk about how yoga relates to life. I actually took yoga for about a year (maybe only once a week or so), before I ever made the connection between coping with the uncomfortableness of a pose and coping with the uncomfortableness of life! (And I'm a therapist!!!).

Thanks for speaking about those connections in class.  l think all of us can use a little help in knowing how to think about things in a way that helps us live a more spiritually rich and balanced life. ~Sheryl
 
Adri is an inspiration to me ....She has been my friend for years now and  I am so proud of her dedication and love towards her profession. I love to be in her classes because I have a positive experience every single time. I love how she spreads her expert advice and meditated warmth as she practices yoga. I have been working with Adri since March, 2007, at her private studio and  I have seen an incredible difference in my balance, coordination and flexibility. I prefer the private lessons to a group setting because of the intense individual attention to detail Adri provides. She tailors each lesson to what my needs are that day. I have arthritis in my knees and wrists and didn't think I could do yoga. Well, I can! It gives me peace and strength. I found Adri to be the perfect fit for me! ~Nisey
 
I called Adri, in search of a local prenatal yoga class, about a month ago when I started taking private lessons at her private studio. I see her three times a week and the sessions have made an undoubted impact on my life and connection with my baby. Since my first session with Adri, I have felt completely at ease with her.

She seems to genuinely understand my anxieties. As we stretch and meditate I feel I can truly trust her with my mind, body and soul not to mention the well-being of my baby. No matter what the day or time, she greets us with a smile. She has an amazingly bright spirit and I feel she sincerely wants to help both me and my baby stretch, grow and learn.

To anyone interested in yoga I would highly recommend meeting Adri.

I have never taken Yoga before and my first class was with Adri. She was a wonderful teacher guiding me at my own pace, making the class a fun learning experience. My apprehension melted away very quickly and I left the class feeling very relaxed and energized. Adri's classes have helped relieve so much of the everyday pressures and stressin my life and I leave feeling empowered to handle each and everyday with a fresh and positive outlook. Thank you, Adri! Yoga has been a part of my life for about 6 years and I have been taking Adri's classes for about a year and a half. As a teacher, she is hands-on, warm, loving and cares about her students. She spends a few minutes before we begin our practice trying to help us quiet our mind, relax and get us in the right frame of mind.

She is very student-focused and she walks around the room to help you get into a pose that might be more comfortable or safer for you. She will also challenge you to the next level in a pose, if that is what you want. You can tell by the way she teaches  that she really loves yoga and wants to share that love with others...

I've been a student a student in Adri's Yoga class in my workplace. I have dabbled in a class here and there in Yoga but never felt that I got get much out of it. When I started attending Adri's class my opinion of Yoga changed completely. With the gentle instructions and nudges, Adri takes the time to move around the class to help us get into the proper pose. Those slight variations make a world of difference in how much the movement really affects the body.

I've become a Yoga 'addict' now and can't say enough about how wonderful I feel after every class. I also have low back problems due to bulging discs and it's amazing how much this Yoga has helped me. I still have the disc problem but I feel like the right moves have helped me strengthen the muscles in my lower back and all over. Thanks Adri

Adri's students benefit from her positive energy each time they attend her yoga classes. She inspires and challenges us through the poses/ flows. Her special interactive approach helps her students learn proper alignment and to reach within themselves for these poses.

lessons with Adri has enhanced my yoga skills and created an inner calmness. In the several months I worked with her my balance, flexibility, inner strength, and core development can all be attributed to Adri positive hands on approach.

Recently I attended Adri's Restorative Yoga Workshop where she guided her students through relaxation poses and breathing. These restorative techniques allow me to focus on a deeper level of relaxation and I finish with a feeling of being refreshed. Thank you Adri you are a dynamic yoga teacher that has inspired me. "I started taking private Yoga classes from Adri about 6 weeks ago. I have worked out for many years, doing step and kick classes and using weights. I felt like I needed something different. My flexibility and balance definitely needed some work and I was interested in the "mind-body" connection of Yoga.

I tried one group class, but didn't feel like I knew enough to do the poses correctly, so initially I was going to take just a few sessions to learn how to be comfortable enough to take a class. My daughter was home for college and she and I started together. After she went back to school, I continued on my own.

I can say that I LOVE it!!Yoga is so much more than just a work-out. And especially when Adri instructs you. One day I had a bad cold, so I thought maybe I should cancel my appointment, but Adri said to come and she would do some restorative poses. We did things to open up my chest and head and I felt so much better. Then there are days when I sweat and feel sore the next day--more sore than when I have done weights--so I know my muscles are getting a workout. If I am feeling stressed, we do things to help me get rid of tension and focus on myself. I feel like I am getting a combination of a physical workout, a therapy session, and meditation. My flexibility and balance are improving. I am getting better at "connecting" with my breath and letting go of the rest of the world during our classes. Then to top it off-- a good friend said "you look great!"

"Adri, you have change my life for the better. I have taken yoga for many years but i have to say that the first day I took your class I had felt a sense of calm and control that I hadn't felt in years....... I formally had neck and back issues, and would take medicine frequently. After your yoga classes I no longer need any medicine or heating pads. Adri you helped me find the peace within.As with most of the gals (and guys) in your classes we have stresses in our family too. However, over the past 5 years we have had more than our share. But during that glorious time on Tuesday during your classes, I didn't have any worries. I had permission to melt into the floor and just let go.

I wouldn't never make an appointment on Tuesday morning and was totally bummed if one of the kids were sick. Every class was different and I learned something new every Tuesday. And, you didn't make us spend a lot of time in side plank. (my least favorite).
